About HCS

HCS is a friendly amateur choir which is non-auditioned and operates around the area of Hampton, Middlesex. We have about 90 members and our repertoire is largely oratorio and other classical works. The choir gives three formal concerts per year with professional orchestra and soloists, and occasionally tours to Europe in the summer. We also try to do our bit for charity and last year contributed to raising £25k for local hospices. Our new Musical Director, Richard Harker has an MA in choral conducting from the Royal Academy of Music and and was an organ scholar of Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge. He believes that rehersals should be fun.
Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays from 7.45pm to 9.30pm at the Teddington Methodist Church, just opposite Teddington Hospital. The season runs from September through to June. If you are interested in joining, please drop in or contact us here.
